Some helpful FAQ's about My Family & Couples Portrait Photography Sessions.

Below is a list of the FAQs that I am asked most often about my Family and Couples Portrait Photography Sessions.

Yes you certainly can choose the location.

Airlie Beach has some great locations very close by like Boathaven Beach, Centennial Park and Headland Park just to name a few.

With some locations you will need a vehicle to get to the locations.

However most of my favorite locations are in easy walking distance of Airlie Beach and it surrounds.

Yes you can have your photos in or around the golden hour before sunset.

Please note though that in the summer months that the sun doesn’t set until late in the evening so please discuss this with me.

If it’s raining or inclement weather, I will try my best to reschedule your portrait for another time.
If we can’t reschedule your booking I will refund your Deposit.

After your portrait session, I will email you the details so that you can complete the remainder of your payment.

Once I have received your final payment and I have finished editing your photos (approximately 2-3 days) you will receive a link to download your images straight to your computer. This link will remain active for 14 days.

I highly recommend that once you have saved these images onto your computer, to also back up your precious memories into the cloud and onto an external hard drive.

If for some reason you are unable to attend your portrait, please contact me at your earliest convenience.

I will always try my best to reschedule your booking for you.

If you decide to cancel your booking and we cannot reschedule your booking then you will forfeit your booking deposit.

If for some reason I cannot attend your photoshoot then I will always try my best to reschedule your booking for you.

If we cannot reschedule your booking then I will refund in full your deposit.

I find that plain-coloured clothing works best when putting your outfits together for your portrait.

Try to avoid any clothing with intricate patterns, and anything with large or distracting logos or text as this can become too busy.

Whites and blues are great colours to wear in the Whitsundays.

It’s probably going to be warm so light clothing will work best.
